Over the Christmas break from school, I have learnt my lines and looked into what costumes I want for each character. This is because in the first week back at school, we will fit the set together, run the performance once or twice on the inset day, then throughout the day for the actual performance days.
Costume:
Base costume - black trousers, school shoes, white shirt
Halmberg - overcoat
Jocke - jumper and hat
Dad - cardigan
Child in gym sequence - take shoes off
The base costume will be worn throughout the performance, and the other characters will have these as additions to differentiate the characters, along with changing the accent slightly.
